‘No trouble between rival fans at Stags match’ - police
Police said fans’ behaviour at the match between bitter rivals Mansfield Town and Chesterfield meant the day passed off without incident.
Officers stepped up patrols to keep fans apart before and after the League Two fixture at the One Call Stadium, which eneded in a 0-0 draw.
Almost 1,500 Chesterfield fans made the short journey across the M1 for the game, but police said there had been no trouble after being contacted by Chad.
