A MAN has been jailed for more than three years for burglary.
Alan Jest was sentenced at Derby Crown Court on Friday, March 11, to 40 months in prison.
Jest, 38, of Woodspring Court, Sheffield, pleaded guilty to burgling a house in Old Hall Gardens, Stoney Middleton, in November 2010.
An upstairs window was smashed and a large number of Royal Crown Derby figurines were taken along with jewellery, silverware and war medals. The Mazda M5 was also stolen from the garage.
The car was later recovered nearby and returned to the owner.
Jest was arrested in Sheffield after a fingerprint left at the scene linked him to the crime.
