Cyclist injured in Miller’s Dale car crash

A cyclist has sustained serious injuries after colliding with a car near Miller’s Dale on Saturday.

The 45-year-old went through the windscreen of a Citroen C3 and suffered fractured arms and significant facial and head injuries. The crash occurred on the B6049 Miller’s Dale Road at about 10.30am. The casualty was airlifted to the University Hospital of North Staffordshire in Stoke.
