Dancing toddlers enjoyed a picnic in the park over the summer holidays.
Twistin’ Tots, the music and movement class hosted a 45 minute song session followed by a picnic, chat and play in Hall Leys Park, near the bandstand.
Jacqui Davis, Twistin’ Tots founder said: “I decided to run some summer sessions – as Twistin’Tots classes usually only run in term time – to enable mums to have a meet up and a chat while offering their children a fun day out. At the same time.”
Twistin’ Tots classes aim to promote learning, co-ordination and movement in young children.
Classes are suitable from birth to aged five, but older siblings are welcome at the picnics and run in term time in Matlock from 10am to 11am on Tuesdays at the All Saints Hall, Smedley Street in Matlock and recommence on Tuesday, September 13.
The event raised money for the Amber Valley Branch of the NCT (which covers the Matlock and Bakewell areas) and Turnditch C of E Primary School.
