Derbyshire Fire Chief in court over rape claims
Derbyshire’s chief fire officer has appeared at Southern Derbyshire magistrates’ Court charged with rape.
Sean Frayne, 47, allegedly raped the woman in Etwall, Derby, between November 30 2006 and January 1 2007.
He will next appear at Derby Crown Court on Monday April 14.
Mr Frayne, of Etwall, has been suspended from his post with Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service until further notice.
