Derbyshire firefighters rush to two-car smash
Firefighters rescued an individual after a two-car crash last night.
Crews from Matlock and Chesterfield were called to Sydnope Hill in Darley Moor at around 7.50pm.
A Derbyshire fire service spokesman said: "The incident involved a road traffic collision between two cars.
"One casualty was rescued from a vehicle and taken to hospital by ambulance.
"Police were also in attendance."
At this stage, the casualty's condition is unknown.
