The Met Office has served up promising predictions of sunny bright spells in between the mist today, Friday, November 21, in and around Derbyshire and the East Midlands.
There could be some bright spells at first, according to forecasters, but generally it is likely to be cloudy and misty.
But the good news is forecasts include a mostly dry day for most but outbreaks of rain are expected to spread later in the afternoon.
By tonight it should be cloudy and breezy through the night with increasing amounts of low cloud with some outbreaks of rain.
It’s also getting a little colder, but it’s not too bad for this time of the year.
Temperatures may reach as high as eight degrees centigrade, according to the Met Office.
