Derbyshire roadworks cause bank holiday problems

While the bank holiday roads are thankfully free from collisions this morning (Monday, August 25) ongoing roadworks are causing traffic congestion.

Traffic on the A61 in both directions between Longedge Lane, Wingerworth, and Nottingham Drive, Tupton, is affected by roadworks, as well as Stoneycroft Lane, Walton, between Hockley Lane and Allendale Road, Wingerworth, and the B6038 between Markham Road, Duckmanton, and Staveley Road, Poolsbrook.

There are also roadworks on the B6543 at B6039 Hasland Road, Hasland, the B6039 between Crow Lane, Chesterfield, and Brimington Road, and Springwood Street, in Temple Normanton.
