Derbyshire’s Gay Police Association joins Twitter

A new Twitter account has been launched to share information about Derbyshire’s Gay Police Association.

By following @DerbyshireGPA you can find out more about the work of the group, seek advice about hate crime and find out about upcoming events.

The association will also re-tweet news from other organisations, such as Derbyshire Friend.

The account launched last week and already has more than 70 followers. It will also be used to give the times, dates and locations of special hate crime surgeries, which are held twice a month by officers who have been specially trained by Derbyshire Friend.

Derbyshire GPA was set up in 2006 as a local branch of the national organisation.

To report hate crime, call Derbyshire police on 101.
