Don’t treat this asset as a joke

Once again the toilet block at the transport interchange at Matlock, were closed on Saturday, August 3.

This is not the first time time that these toilets have been out of use, partially or fully on Saturdays.

Is this the way to treat visitors to Matlock, especially when they are close to were coaches, from all over the country, park up, to allow visitors to spend money in the town?

The comments from some of them are best not repeated here, but no doubt they spread the word to others, once toilets have a bad name, it sticks.

So why aren’t these toilets looked after, they could be an asset, but at the moment they are a joke?
