A clean-up operation is set to start today after an oil spill on the Cromford Canal.

The Environment Agency are planning to work with other agencies including Derbyshire Wildlife Trust to clear up the oil, which is affecting around 1km of the canal near High Peak Junction.

Dog walkers are being urged not to let their animals enter the water.
