IT was a red, white and blue kind of a day at Darley Dale Primary School when they held their Royal wedding celebrations in honour of William and Kate.
Children at the school were encouraged to wear the three colours of the Union Jack in a variety of imaginative ways.
Eddie Farrington brightened up the place in his multi-coloured red, white and blue curly wig, while Finn Blackburn had a Union Jack temporary tattoo on his forehead.
And twins Joe and Sam Naylor looked extremely regal dressed as kings in their blue capes and crowns.
The children were each presented with a commemorative medal as a memento of the Royal wedding.
The gold medal features a picture of Prince William and Kate Middleton.
The medal itself is attached to a red, white and blue ribbon.
