Fifteen charged after ‘large-scale’ drugs investigation

Fifteen people have been charged with 43 offences as part of a large-scale drugs investigation.

The 14 men and one woman were charged between May 7 and 23 with offences including drugs possession, drugs supply and conspiring to conceal criminal property.

Fourteen of the people charged, aged between 17 and 66, are due to appear before High Peak Magistrates’ Court on June 5. A 32-year-old Great Longstone man will appear before the same court on June 3.

They are from across the county, including Darley Dale, Middleton, Renishaw, Buxton, Brimington and New Mills. One man is from Doncaster and one is from Beeston in Nottinghamshire.

The charged people are:

1.Neil Ogden (43) of Oker Avenue, Darley Dale, has been charged with two counts of conspiring to supply amphetamine, possessing diazepam with the intent to supply, possessing cannabis with the intent to supply and 14 counts of conspiring to conceal or convert criminal property.

2.Stephen Ogden (65) of Oker Avenue, Darley Dale, has been charged with conspiring to supply amphetamine.

3.Joan Ogden (66) of Oker Avenue, Darley Dale, has been charged with conspiring to supply amphetamine.

4.Kevin Brough (44) of Hallcroft, Middleton, has been charged with conspiring to conceal or convert criminal property, possessing cannabis resin with the intent to supply, conspiring to supply cannabis and handling stolen goods.

5.David Atkinson (45) of The Croft, Beckingham, Doncaster, has been charged with conspiring to conceal or convert criminal property, possessing cannabis with the intent to supply and conspiring to supply cannabis.

6.Glen Martin (46) of Highfield Lane, Chesterfield, has been charged with conspiring to conceal or convert criminal property.

7.Leigh Price (32), of Fairfield Road, Buxton, has been charged with conspiring to conceal or convert criminal property and supplying buprenorphine.

8.A 17-year-old male, of Buxton, has been charged with conspiring to conceal or convert criminal property.

9.Dean Wilson (27), of Eccles Close, Hope Valley, has been charged with conspiring to conceal or convert criminal property.

10.Steven Crossland (37) of Albion Road, New Mills, has been charged with conspiring to conceal or convert criminal property and possessing heroin with the intent to supply.

11.Nicholas Seville (32) of Edge View Drive, Great Longstone has been charged with conspiring to supply amphetamine and conspiring to conceal or convert criminal property.

12.Gavin Logan (27), of Wheeldon Crescent, Brimington, has been charged with conspiring to conceal or convert criminal property.

13.Steven Cooper (51), of Bridge Court, Beeston in Nottingham, has been charged with conspiring to conceal or convert criminal property.

14.Dean Hollis (51) of Manor Road, Brimington, has been charged with conspiring to conceal or convert criminal property.

15.Andrew Bradley (35), of Winster Grove, Buxton, was charged with possessing cannabis, two counts of possessing amphetamine and conspiring to conceal or convert criminal property.
