Former Derbyshire MP Edwina Currie is hotly-tipped to be joining fellow competitors on the hit ITV show I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here.

Mrs Currie has already appeared in the 2011 series of BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing and took part in Hell’s Kitchen, Wife Swap, Come Dine With Me and Celebrity Stars In Their Eyes.

Media sources have revealed that Mrs Currie is expected to be a late entry on the show which started on Sunday evening, November 16.

Currie once criticised Conservative MP Nadine Dorries for competing on I’m a Celebrity back in 2012, according to website Digital Spy.

The outspoken former Derbyshire MP, who has strong links to Tideswell, has spoken out on trolls, EU and Strictly Come Dancing, and has criticised charitable food banks.
