PARENTS are being urged to make the most of free nursery education funding available.
Derbyshire County Council have committed £1.7m worth of funding to further develop nursery education places for children aged two years who live in Derbyshire.
If eligible, families may be entitled for up to 15 hours per week of free nursery education funding, commencing the term after their second birthday.
Treetops Nursery at Matlock – who were voted ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted earlier this year – are welcoming any eligible families to take up the offer and make the most of their ‘fun but educational’ child care .
A spokesman for the nursery said: “We have an extraordinary preschool experience featuring a creative and nurturing environment.”
