Police netted cash for heroes during a charity football match.
It was an eight-nil win for the police team against a side of young people from Bakewell and surrounding villages during a fun match at Bakewell Recreation Ground.
The game raised £140 for the Help for Heroes charity.
Organiser PCSO Jon Taylor of Bakewell Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “The game was played in great spirits, the support on the touchline was tremendous and we all had a really good time.”
There was a treat on the final whistle with post-match chip butties provided by the Red Lion pub. Other sponsors included Le Mistral and the Show Committee.
