The cash boost of £11,200 will see the Goalz scheme continue for youngsters in Buxton and Fairfield by maintaining running costs and funding extra sessions in the area.

Goalz is a series of free training sessions led by coaches from Stockport County FC Community Foundation in partnership with Derbyshire police, High Peak Borough Council and Buxton Community School.

Open to youngsters over the age of ten, sessions take place each week at Buxton Community School and include an educational hour covering issues such as the consequences of binge drinking, drugs and anti-social behaviour.
