Georgian summer of events planned at Chatsworth

It is a truth universally acknowledged that Chatsworth is one of England’s greatest country estates and as the probable inspiration for Mr Darcy’s home in Pride and Prejudice, it’s the perfect setting for a Georgian Summer of events, running from July 27 to August 29 to celebrate 200 years since the publication of Jane Austen’s novel.

A wide range of themed activities are running through the five weeks, including a Sing Live event on July 27 with between 50-100 singers performing in the garden dressed in Pride And Prejudice costumes, plus a performance of Pride and Prejudice on the Salisbury lawn on August 1.
