FOUR groups have been given a cash boost by Derbyshire County Council for green projects.
The latest round of Derbyshire Greenwatch Action Grants add up to £1,665 and will go towards various Dales projects.
These include a garden in Darley Dale for people with mental health issues, a pond and garden at a school in Draycott, a gardening project at a Sandiacre school and a wildlife area at allotments in Bakewell.
Derbyshire County Council’s cabinet member for highways and transport, Councillor Simon Spencer, said: “These four projects are well worth supporting. The grants we are giving will support biodiversity, and benefit communities across Derbyshire.”
