An historic site will be brought to life with a series of guided tours.
The Arkwright Society is hosting a programme of free guided tours of Cromford Mills from September 6 to 9.
Visitors will be able to step back in time with a tour of the main mill complex to when Sir Richard Arkwright pioneered the world’s first successful water powered cotton spinning mill.
The tour will also include the first mill, which features a temporary large–scale art installation by artist Steve Messam.
For further details of tours, including dates and times, visit www.arkwrightsociety.org.uk or phone 01629 825995.
Advance booking is recommended as places are limited.
