Hathersage clothing store’s bank holiday theft

A clothing shop had £1200 worth of stock stolen in a few minutes after two thieves struck in the middle of the day.

The men entered Outdoor Sports Clothing, of Hathersage, at 2pm on Saturday 2 June and quickly stole eight mens outdoor jackets which are valued at around £200 each.

The thieves then ran to the upstairs fire exit and made their escape in a silver hatchback car - heading in the direction of Castleton.

Both of the men are described as being in their twenties and around 5’9”.

One had short dark hair and a dark hooded jacket and the other had short fair hair.
