Have your say on High Peak Local Plan

High Peak Borough Council has published its draft local plan, which allocates sites for new homes and businesses that are needed up to 2031 and explains how new jobs will be supported and how the environment will be protected.

The council is now starting final public consultation on the draft plan and is sending a leaflet to explain the process to all 38,000 households in the borough before submitting it to an independent planning inspector.

Comments on the draft plan need to be received by the council by June 6 and all responses must be made on the government’s form provided on the council’s website.

The plan and forms together with many documents of supporting evidence, information and guidance, will be available for inspection at all libraries in High Peak and at the council’s offices at Buxton Town Hall and Glossop Municipal Buildings as well as the council’s website.
