It’s been a busy time at Matlock and District Hard of Hearing Club this month as members held their annual Strawberry Tea.
Before tucking into strawberries and scones, Janet Millard from the Chesterfield branch of the Deaf and Hearing Support showed members a new cordless telephone which is proving popular with the hard of hearing and also a device for wearing when watching television.
After tea, members were urged to spend their money at the bring and buy stall, with all proceeds going to club finds.
The club also went on a mystery trip on Monday, July 18.
The next club meeting is on Monday, August 1 at 2pm in the Imperial Rooms when Doug Bradbury will be giving a talk about his life as a farrier.
