PROGRESS towards becoming an NHS Foundation Trust will be on the agenda when the Board of Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Trust next meets on Thursday January 26 at 9am in the Farnah Room, Babington Hospital, Belper.
Patients, families, carers and local residents are invited to sit in on the discussions, which Board members hope will be of particular interest to the growing band of people who have signed up to belong to the emerging Foundation Trust, which now stands at more than 3,200 members.
As well as progress towards Foundation Trust status, discussions will also focus on: Quality and performance reports from across the trust’s community hospitals, health centres and from services provided in people’s own homes and other community settings.
Many more topics relevant to community health services in Derbyshire.
Everyone is welcome and light refreshments will be provided. Kirsteen Farrar, trust secretary for Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Trust, said: “Questions from the public are welcomed but need to be submitted in advance to ensure a full answer can be given at the meeting.”
Anyone who would like to raise a question for Board members on January 26 is asked to contact Kirsteen Farrar, Trust Secretary at Babington Hospital, Derby Road, Belper, Derbyshire, DE56 1WH, telephone 01775 25065 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org
