The latest Chesterfield magistrates’ court results as published in the January 7 edition of the Derbyshire Times are published below.

Motoring

Danny James Hancock, 19, of Portland Street, Clowne. Pleaded guilty to exceeding the alcohol drink-drive limit. Fined £242 and must pay a £24 victim surcharge and £85 costs and a £150 courts charge. Disqualified from driving for 16 months.

Craig Ashley Knowles, 32, of Bridle Lane, Leabrooks, Alfreton. Pleaded guilty to exceeding the alcohol drink-drive limit. Fined £250 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs and a £150 courts charge. Disqualified from driving for 20 months. Pleaded guilty to driving without insurance. No separate penalty.

Daniel Bradley White, 18, of Falcon Road, Dronfield. Pleaded guilty to exceeding the alcohol drink-drive limit. Fined £160 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs and a £150 courts charge. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.

Sean Martin Hollindale, 29, of Boythorpe Crescent, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to exceeding the alcohol drink-drive limit. No separate penalty. Disqualified from driving for 39 months. Pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified from driving. No separate penalty. Pleaded guilty to using a vehicle without insurance. No separate penalty. Indicated a guilty plea to taking a vehicle without the consent of the owner and damage was caused to the vehicle. Admitted committing a further offence while subject to a suspended sentence for two offences of damage. No adjudication. Dealt with for the two damage offences which were subject to the suspended sentence. Committed to prison for 31 weeks. Restraining order to last until December 20, 2017. Must pay an £80 victim surcharge and a £180 courts charge.

Stephen Adams, 59, of Dale End, Brassington, Matlock. Pleaded guilty to driving while not wearing a seat belt. No separate penalty. Pleaded guilty to using a vehicle with no test certificate. Fined £40 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs and a £150 courts charge.

Danielle Rose Ward, 26, of Priestley Avenue, Stretton, Alfreton. Proved in absence that she failed to give information relating to the identification of a driver alleged to have been guilty of an offence. Fined £660 and must pay a £66 victim surcharge, £85 costs and a £150 courts charge.

Drugs

David Garrett, 33, of Oakes Row, Ironville. Indicated a guilty plea to possessing 16.68grammes of Ketamine, a controlled class B drug. Failed to comply with a community order. Also dealt with for the original offence relating to the community order of stealing tools and accessories. Community order to last until December 15, 2016, with a drug rehabilitation requirement. Fined £80 and must pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs and a £180 courts charge.

Toni-Marie Edge, 26, of St Augustine’s Mount, Chesterfield. Indicated a guilty plea to possessing 0.06grammes of methylmethcathinone, a controlled class B drug. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Must pay a £15 victim surcharge and a £180 courts charge.

Assault

Zak Anthony Marshall, 19, of Meakin Street, Hasland, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to assault. Community order to last until December 15, 2016, with 100 hours of unpaid work. Must pay £250 compensation and a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs and a £150 courts charge.

Martyn Timothy MacDougall, 47, of Sherwood Street, Bolsover. Pleaded guilty to assault. Fined £120 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs and a £150 courts charge.

Brian William Buckland, 63, of Carter Lane, Shirebrook. Pleaded guilty to two counts of assault. Community order to last until June 14, 2017, with a Building Better Relationships Programme and rehabilitation. Fined £300 and must pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs and a £150 courts charge.

Scott Burrows, 26, of Park Mill Drive, Westhouses, Alfreton. Pleaded guilty to assault. Committed to prison for 18 weeks suspended for 24 months with an Alcohol Treatment Requirement and a Building Better Relationships Programme and rehabilitation. Restraining order to last until December 15, 2016. Must pay £150 compensation, an £80 victim surcharge, £150 costs and a £150 courts charge. Admitted committing a further offence while subject to a suspended sentence for possessing a class B drug with intent and possessing a class B drug. Suspended sentence varied to 15 months’ custody suspended for 24 months.

John Martin Nolan, 50, of Station Road, Whitwell. Assault. Committed to prison for 26 weeks suspended for 18 months with a Building Better Relationships Programme and a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement and 60 hours of unpaid work. Restraining order to last until December 17, 2020. Must pay £300 compensation, an £80 victim surcharge, £620 costs and a £520 courts charge.

Amy Louise Rafter, 26, of Gladstone Road, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to two counts of assault. Discharged conditionally for 24 months. Fined 85 and must pay £100 compensation and a £15 victim surcharge and a £150 courts charge.

Theft

Barry James Gent, 37, of Adelaide Walk, Ironville. Indicated a guilty plea to four counts of stealing diesel. Pleaded guilty to damaging a blanket belonging to police. Community order to last until December 15, 2016, with a Thinking Skills Programme and a Rehabilitation Activity requirement and 120 hours of unpaid work. Must pay £399 compensation and an £85 costs and a £150 courts charge.

June Samantha Jackson, 30, of Horsendale Avenue, Jacksondale. Pleaded guilty to stealing alcohol belonging to Co-op. Pleaded guilty to using a vehicle without insurance. Pleaded guilty to stealing an electric toothbrush, soap and a Glory gift set belonging to Boots. Admitted committing a further offence while subject to a suspended sentence for a theft. No adjudication. Admitted committing a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge for two other thefts. No adjudication. Dealt with for the original offences subject to the suspended sentence and the conditional discharge. Committed to prison for 12 weeks.

Sylwester Piotr Maslanka, 38, of Brunner Avenue, Shirebrook. Indicated a guilty plea top stealing clothing. Indicated a guilty to stealing various meat belonging to the Co-op. Indicated a guilty plea to stealing cosmetics. Community order to last until December 16, 2016, with 60 hours of unpaid work. Must pay £50 compensation and a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs and a £180 courts charge.

Sarah-Louise May, 32, of Hipper Street West, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to stealing a bottle of vodka valued belonging to Spar stores. Community order until December 16, 2016, with a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement. Fined £40 and must pay £11.35 compensation, a £60 victim surcharge and a £150 courts charge.

Other

Richard Mark Roberts, 41, of Elvaston Road, North Wingfield, Chesterfield. Indicated a guilty plea to possessing criminal property namely a mountain bike. Community order to last until June 16, 2016, with a two week curfew and a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement. Must pay a £60 victim surcharge and a £180 courts charge.

Ian Hopkinson, 47, of Derby Road, Chesterfield. Admitted failing to comply with a community order. No adjudication. Dealt with for the original offence of harassment relating to the community order. Committed to prison for eight weeks.

Paul Chapman, 47, of Town End, Bolsover. Admits failing to comply with supervision requirements imposed after a release from prison. Committed to prison for 14 days.
