Theft

Richard Beardsmore, 54, of Cavendish Street, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to stealing fragrance belonging to Debenhams. Fined £120 and must pay £51 compensation and a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Michael Timothy Goodhead, 35, of Holly Avenue, Ripley. Pleaded guilty to stealing alcohol belonging to Premier Stores. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Must pay £13 compensation and a £15 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Cheryl Hughes, 39, of Rectory Road, Clowne. Pleaded guilty to stealing fragrance belonging to Debenhams. Fined £40 and must pay compensation of £51 and a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Robert Taylor, 39, of Pease Hill, Alfreton. Pleaded guilty to stealing two aftershave gifts sets valued at £60 belonging to Superdrug. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Must pay £60 compensation and a £15 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Dale William Mee, 50, of Loscoe Road, Alfreton. Pleaded guilty to stealing lager, Prosecco and a DVD valued at £15.97 belonging to Home Bargains. Fined £40 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Admits failing to comply with the requirements of a community order. Order to continue with varied requirements including a rehabilitation activity requirement.

Malcolm Troke, 33, of Thorntree Court, Grangewood, Chesterfield. Indicated a guilty plea to stealing cosmetics belonging to Boots. Fined £80 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to custody. No separate penalty. Admitted failing to comply with a community order. Order to continue but must now comply with a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement.

Ian Haynes, 36, of Hurst Rise, Matlock. Pleaded guilty to stealing cheese and meat valued at £19.99 belonging to the Co-op at Matlock. Fined £80 and must pay £19.99 compensation and a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to custody. Fined £40.

Lorna Claire Breeze, 37, of North Crescent, Killamarsh. Indicated a guilty plea to stealing cash belonging to The Sitwell Arms. Community order to last until February 22, 2017, with 150 hours of unpaid work. Must pay £5 compensation and a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Drugs

Stephen Paul Lacey, 47, of Clay Lane, Clay Cross. Indicated a guilty plea to possessing a quantity of liquid amphetamine, a controlled class A drug. Must pay a £15 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Indicated a guilty plea to possessing a quantity of amphetamine, a controlled class B drug. Indicated a guilty plea to possessing 2.8grammes of cannabis, a class B drug. Discharged conditionally for two years.

Duncan Martin Cyril Elmore, 25, of Springfield Avenue, Shirebrook. Indicated a guilty plea to possessing amphetamine, a controlled class B drug. Fined £80 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Jason Briggs, 40, of Peasehill, Ripley. Indicated a guilty plea to possessing a quantity of amphetamine, a controlled class B drug. Fined £80 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Other

Leon Robert Surr, 32, of Haywood Street, Brimington, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to damaging a Ford Focus. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Must pay £702 compensation, a £15 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Michael Anthony John Roberts, 38, of The Croft, South Normanton, Alfreton. Pleaded guilty to resisting a constable in the execution of his duty. Fined £530 and must pay £100 compensation and a £53 victim surcharge and £300 costs.

Ian Donald Hudson, 36, of Willow Garth Road, Chesterfield. Admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order. No adjudication. Dealt with for the original offence of sending an electronic communication which conveyed a threat. Committed to prison for six weeks.

Grant Heywood, 30, of Appletree Road, Stanfree, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to using threatening behaviour. Fined £405 and must pay a £40 victim surcharge and £300 costs.

Paul Adams, 50, of Bridle Lane, Leabrooks, Alfreton. Pleaded guilty to using threatening behaviour. Fined £40 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

David Paul Wilson, 51, of Grangewood Close, Birchwood Crescent, Chesterfield. Found guilty of using threatening behaviour. Restraining order to last until February 22, 2018. Fined £120 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £620 costs.

Daniel Morris, 33, of Chatsworth Road, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to entering a train without a valid ticket entitling him to travel. Discharged conditionally for six months. Must pay £6 compensation and a £15 victim surcharge and £135 costs.

Motoring

Graham Turner, 55, of Queen Street North, Whittington Moor, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified. Disqualified from driving for four years. Pleaded guilty to using a vehicle without insurance. 
No separate penalty. Admits commission of a further offence while subject to a suspended sentence for the offence of aggravated vehicle taking, vehicle damage and driving while disqualified. No adjudication. 
Dealt with for the original offences which were subject to a suspended sentence of taking a vehicle without the consent of the owner and where damage was caused to the vehicle and for driving while disqualified. Committed to prison for 40 weeks.

Ryan Melvyn Gibbons, 20, of College Avenue, Staveley. Found guilty of driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence. Fined £60 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £300 costs.

Jake Thomas Adams, 25, of Potters Close, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to speeding. Fined £111 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Driving record endorsed with three points.

Linda Karen Burton, 63, of Upper Newbold Close, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen after being suspected of having driven a vehicle. 
Fined £120 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for 16 months.

Ashley Shaun Mee, 23, of Brook Street, Clay Cross. Pleaded guilty to exceeding the alcohol drink-drive limit. Community order to last until February 23, 2017, with 100 hours of unpaid work. Must pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for 24 months.

Lee Andrew Maw, 29, of Gipsy Lane, Old Whittington, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to exceeding a drug-drive limit with the controlled drug Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol. 
Must pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for 24 months. Pleaded guilty to using a vehicle without insurance. No separate penalty. Pleaded guilty to driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence. No separate penalty.

Gareth Jervis, 33, of Holme Hall Crescent, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to assaulting a police constable in the execution of his duty. Fined £320 and must pay a £32 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
