100th birthday bash for Ethel

Rowsley resident Ethel Eyre is to celebrate her 100th birthday this week with a party in the village.

On Saturday, March 9, Ethel will be joined by family and friends – from Australia, America, Italy and all over the UK – for the bash at the Grouse and Claret.

Ethel, of Church Street, has lived in the same house her whole life and is looking forward to the reunion.
