A LOCAL music teacher has had not one but three books published in the past few weeks.

Composer Robert Steadman, who teaches music part-time at Lady Manners School, was commissioned to write some revision guides to help students prepare better for the A-level and GCSE Music Exams.

The result is three books: one dealing with the AQA Exam board's GCSE Music exam, one dealing with Edexcel's AS Level Music Technology and one for Edexcel A2 Music Technology.

They are being published by Rhinegold Publishing, the leading publisher of music education titles in the UK.

Robert said: "Having both taught and marked these exams for several years it was great to be asked to write these guides.."
