Councillor’s backing for community transport scheme

Bakewell and Eyam Community Transport gratefully received a cheque for £400 from Cllr Judith Twigg.

The money, alloacted from her Members’ Community Leadership Fund to buy volunteers and staff uniform and high-visibility jackets. Each year approximately 20 new volunteers are recruited to the organisation.

Lynn Jackson, Chair of Bakewell and Eyam Community Transport, thanked Cllr Judith Twigg for the financial support.

If you would like to learn how to drive a minibus and volunteer for Bakewell and Eyam Community Transport they will provide this training for you.
