DERBYSHIRE DALES: All waste to be collected in one stop next week

editorial image

Dales residents have been advised that all food, household and garden waste will be collected at the same time next week.

Derbyshire Dales District Council has made the announcement in order to make up for the bin collections missed as a result of the snow.

The one off collection of all waste will take place in the week starting Monday, January 28, on residents’ normal collection day.

Properties that did not receive a recycling collection on Monday, January 21, because of snow should get a collection this weekend.

Any recycling collections not possible this weekend will be completed on the next scheduled recycling day.

Any other recycling collections missed this week will now be completed on the next scheduled collection day.
