THE MET Office is still giving a yellow warning for more snow across the East Midlands throughout today, Wednesday, February 13.

This includes areas around Derby, Derbyshire, Leicester, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire & Rutland and the yellow warning is expected to stay in place until midnight this evening.

The A628 Woodhead Pass closed and slow traffic in both directions between Gun Inn Traffic Lights in Mottram in Longdendale and Flouch roundabout in Langsett, because of recovery work and a jack-knifed lorry.

The A57 Snake Pass in Glossop partially blocked in both directions at Royal Oak Inn, Glossop, because of snow and an accident involving two vehicles.

Lees Road in Stanton Lees, Derbyshire, closed at the Oldfield Lane junction, because of ice and snow.

A601 Derbyshire has stop-start traffic on St Alkmund’s Way, in Derby city centre, at the A6 King Street junction in the roadworks area.
