Funding for Peak barn

A Peak District educational resource has been awarded funding.

Tissington Estate has received a welcome grant from the CLA Charitable Trust to help provide disabled toilet facilities at its popular education barn.

The CLA Charitable Trust provides education, recreation and facilities in the countryside for those who are disabled or disadvantaged and particularly for young people.

Sir Richard FitzHerbert, of Tissington Hall, said: “We are very grateful to the CLA Charitable Trust for this grant towards the disabled loos at our Education Barn, which is on a working farm on the Tissington Estate.”

For details of the educational visits hosted by the Tissington Estate call the estate office on 01335 352200 or email events@tissingtonhall.co.uk
