Masson residents go to the polls

An election will be held on December 6 for a district councillor to represent the Masson Ward.

The election will affect 2,500 residents, who will be able to cast their votes by post or in person at the polling stations at the Pavillion, Matlock Bath; Bonsall Village Hall or The Institute, Cromford, between 7am and 10pm.

Residents who would like to cast their votes by post need to apply to the district council by Wednesday November 21.

The result will be announced following the count at Matlock Town Hall, after the polls close at 10pm.

The seat will fill the vacancy created by the death of Cllr John March.
