Transport gets financial backing

Community transport schemes across the county are getting financial backing from Derbyshire County Council again this year.

Each of Derbyshire’s seven community transport schemes will get a share of the £1.491 million grant from the council to help with day-to-day running costs of their operations.

Cllr Simon Spencer said: “We’re pleased to support these initiatives again.”
