Vandals target town’s bandstand

Vandalism on the roof of the Ashbourne Memorial Gardens bandstand has forced Derbyshire Dales District Council to erect safety fencing in a bid to stop further damage.

Cllr Steve Bull stressed that vandalism is never acceptable, but it is “particularly disappointing” when memorial gardens are targeted.
