Vandals target vans in Tansley

editorial image

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a number of vans parked in Tansley were targeted by vandals.

Eight vehicles had their windows smashed overnight between Tuesday, January 15 and Wednesday, January 16.

Officers believe the offenders used an instrument to slide between the window glass and the door panel, which then shattered the windows.

Although access was then gained, nothing was stolen from the vans, all of which were of differing makes, colours and models.

The offences took place in Church Street, Edge Road, Holly Lane, Slater Crescent, Spout Lane and Tawney Close.
