Warning to Land Rover owners

Police are advising Land Rover owners to be extra vigilant after an attempted theft of a Land Rover Defender from Culland Lane in Brailsford, Ashbourne.

Some time between midnight on Friday, October 26, and 12.30pm, the offender unhooked the trailer attached to the vehicle, moved the vehicle approximately eight feet and left the driver’s and passenger’s doors open.

The offenders may have been disturbed and abandoned the vehicle.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Derbyshire police on 101 – quoting crime number ‘46751/12’.
