Weather for Tuesday, January 29:

Today:

After some brief dry and bright spells it will quickly become cloudy, with outbreaks of rain and drizzle arriving. The rain will become heavy and persist in places, especially over the Peak District this afternoon. Very mild, but becoming windy. Maximum Temperature 13 °C.

Tonight:

Mild, overcast and windy with further rain. The rain will become heavy and prolonged at times, before largely clearing away southeastwards later tonight. Minimum Temperature 6 °C.

Wednesday:

Any residual cloud and rain will soon clear away, leaving broken cloud and sunny intervals, along with scattered heavy, perhaps thundery, showers. Later becoming mainly dry. Windy and feeling fresher. Maximum Temperature 9 °C.
