AMAZING: 107-year-old Charlotte '˜still feels 21'
Charlotte Weston, who lives at Tansley House Residential Home, marked her big day with a party at the home, attended by family, friends and other residents.
She was born in 1909, five years before the start of the First World War and three years before the sinking of the Titanic.

“She is still up and about, is a very lively lady in her mind and looks and acts like someone who is much younger.”
Charlotte first attended the home when she was 103 for a ‘short visit’.
She then moved full time into the home in December last year, leaving the supervised accommodation at Victoria Court in Matlock where she had been living for the previous 20 years.

“We have one resident who will turn 100 later this year and many other residents in their late 90s as well,” says Carol.
“Her daughter comes to visit her very often and Charlotte has told me in the past she puts her long life down to working in Buxton for many years and being exposed to its rejuvenating spa waters.”
