Cash from the Government to fix potholes in Derbyshire has been welcomed by the county council.

Derbyshire County Council is to receive £2.48million from a central fund to mend potholes.

The council’s deputy cabinet member for jobs, economy and transport, Councillor Dean Collins, said: “Potholes are a nuisance for all those who use the roads, and we’ve had our workers and contractors fixing them throughout the year.
