A church will host an evening of Renaissance choral music.

The early music chamber choir, Renaissance Voices, will be singing at the concert, which will be held from 7.30pm onwards on Saturday, June 14, at St Michael and All Angels Church, in Taddington.

All profits will go to Friends of the Peak District.

David Young, music director, said “The choir will be singing Renaissance motets, anthems, madrigals and chansons from 16th Century England and from Italy and France.”

Tickets cost £10 on the door or from David Young by calling 01298 85541.
