A Glossop man has been given a curfew after punching a man twice in an unprovoked attack.

Mordecai Williams was stood outside Norfolk Pizza in Glossop in the early hours of March 30 eating a kebab, High Peak Magistrates’ Court heard. He was then punched on the left side of the face to the jaw area by Joseph Collins, prosecutor Jennifer Fitzgerald said. Collins walked off but was challenged by Mr Williams. He then walked back towards him and punched him a second time just below the eye.

In interview, Collins said he couldn’t remember what happened because he was too drunk.
