Delays expected due to Matlock Bath protest

A protest ride by bikers against new parking charges at Matlock Bath is expected to cause severe traffic delays today.

Organisers expect hundreds of enthusiasts to take part in the ride which will take place on the A6 between Ambergate and Matlock Bath.

The bikers are meeting at the Hurt Arms in Ambergate from 10am and, from midday, will head along the A6 towards Cromford and Matlock.

Motorists are advised that any journeys they are planning in the area may take significantly longer than normal.
