GCSE RESULTS: The grade and the good at Lady Manners

Lady Manners School has celebrated more exam success, with its latest batch of GCSE results.

Overall, 73 per cent of students at the Bakewell comprehensive gained at least five subjects at grade C or better, including both English and mathematics.

And 46 students achieved at least seven full GCSE A or A* grades within their results.

Headteacher Duncan Meikle said: “Students and staff have worked hard and these successes are well deserved.

“Due to their efforts lots of students have made good progress and there are many very strong individual achievements once again.”
