Alun James McDonald, 44, of Chesterfield Road, Alfreton. Pleaded guilty to entering a building as a trespasser and stealing cabling. Community order to last until March 18, 2016, with a curfew for eight weeks with electronic monitoring. Must pay £100 compensation and a £60 victim surcharge and £300 costs.

Thomas Daniel Crossan, 20, of Scotland Street, Whitwell. Pleaded guilty to stealing a 20pack of lager. Must pay £13 compensation.

Andrew McCreadie, 37, of Didcot Close, Grangewood, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to stealing groceries and toys. Indicated a guilty plea to stealing more groceries. Must pay an £80 victim surcharge. Admits committing a further offence during a suspended sentence for theft. No adjudication.
