Motorcyclist fined for speeding on Chapel bypass

A Hope Valley motorcyclist has been banned from driving after being clocked speeding at 113 miles per hour on the Chapel bypass.

Martin Salvage admitted travelling at over 70 miles per hour on his Honda motorbike on the A6 in Chapel-en-le-Frith at 10.09am on December 15.

The 47-year-old, of Netherside, Bradwell, was disqualified from driving for 14 days, fined £280 and ordered to pay £35 court costs and a £28 victim surcharge at High Peak Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
