Parents anger over Hady Primary path floods

Have your say

Angry parents are calling for action over a flooded school walkway that has blighted school runs for over twenty years.

More than a foot of water lines the only pathway from Hady Lane to Hady Primary School, meaning parents are forced to carry children as old as eleven across the 200 metre stretch, as the water floods their wellingtons.

Mum-of-two Kelly Bannister – who has started a petition to present to Derbyshire County Council – said the water is even high enough to run into adult wellingtons.
