Dales residents are being encouraged to make the most of the great outdoors by getting on two wheels.

The Summer of Cycling is a project set up to promote almost 200 miles of traffic–free tracks and greenways in Derbyshire and more than 70 miles of traffic free trails and routes in the Peak District National Park.

For full details – including free–to–enter competitions, special offers, cycle routes and lots more information, visit www.summerofcycling.co.uk or follow the Twitter feed #summerofcycling.

You can also browse or download a brochure from the website, or pick up a copy from tourist information centres in and around the area.
