Country lovers and spectators enjoyed glorious sunshine at the Longshaw Sheep Dog Trials.

The 116th event involved competitors from across the world who descended on the Peak District estate with their dogs to compete for the coveted silver teapot.

The trials were first held in 1898 and organisers claim they are the oldest continuous trials in the country.
