The Post Office has announced the launch of a new Advisory Council which will engage with people interested in having an influence on changes to the Post Office including plans to move Chesterfield, Matlock branches into retail stores.

The Advisory Council is looking for members or organisations to participate.

The Advisory Council will play an important role in reflecting views and wants to hear from people who want to influence Post Office Ltd’s future.

The council will be made up of between 20 to 30 members to provide a mix of people. It will meet three times a year from March 2014 and membership will be voluntary. Applications close on January 31.
